The double garage floor was in moderate condition with typical oil stains and rubber marks when we were asked to quote the job, with minor cracks. Decima had a downstairs living area she’d gutted during a renovation. She’d ripped out the outdated maroon carpet, and it had been sitting bare for a year while she researched her options. In its current state, it wasn’t a usable space. It was dark, and the floor was rough with all kinds of irregularities, thanks to the previous owner doing a lot of his own handy work.
Our client recently had an epoxy floor installed by another company which was poorly installed. The finish was not consistent and had not been done to standards. Our team was asked to come in and rectify the problem and we started the process with an initial light grind.
The indoor/outdoor entertaining area was a purposed poured concrete slab that was deliberately laid for a polished concrete finish.
The area is approx 50sq metres and it took a total of 10 days to complete all prep work through to finished product.
This beautiful large home had several different coloured ceramic tiles throughout when we quoted this job. After a consultation and quote with our flooring specialist the owner chose to take the option of our team to install a leveling system over the top of the existing tiles followed by installation of our premium vinyl plank range in colour spotted gum.
