Floor Layer to join our team.
About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a fully qualified or highly experienced Floor Layer to join our dedicated and supportive team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in the Gladstone Region.
You'll be responsible for:
- Preparing and installing vinyl, vinyl planks, hybrid flooring, polished concrete, and epoxy coatings
- Completing floor surface prep, including sanding, grinding, and minor repairs
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, safe work environment
- Following detailed instructions and collaborating with teammates to meet deadlines
- Representing our company values in all interactions with clients and team members
What We're Looking For:
- Fully qualified or significant floor-laying experience
- Skilled in commercial vinyl, vinyl planks, and hybrid flooring (highly desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Problem-solving mindset and team-first attitude
- Construction White Card or Blue Card (mandatory)
- Current Driver's License & reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel for overnight jobs (with overtime paid)
- Great communication skills and a professional, reliable presence
What We Offer:
- Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (occasional Saturdays)
- Competitive hourly rate - Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
- Generous Relocation Bonus: $1,000 after 4 weeks, Additional $1,000 at 3 months and Final $1,000 at 6 months
